The forthcoming series “Eyes of Wakanda” will delve into the intriguing narrative of Mosy, the original Black Panther, within the Marvel Universe. Although T’Challa, the iconic Black Panther, first appeared in the 1966 comic “Fantastic Four,” the heritage of the Black Panthers spans centuries, which the new series will thoroughly examine.
Conceived by Jason Aaron and EAD Ribbit, Mosy made his debut in “Marvel Legacy” as the first Wakandan to endure the heart-shaped herb and gain the blessing of the panther goddess Bast. His tale unfolds approximately a million years in the past, during a time when cosmic forces from the Minagi meteorite created rifts in Wakanda’s space-time continuum, attracting formidable beings like Odin, who recognized Mosy’s power and granted him the ability to wield Mjolnir.
