“Mortal Kombat 2” is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 reboot of the iconic video game franchise, set to premiere in 2025. Building on the events of the first film, this installment promises to ramp up the action, expand the lore, and introduce new characters from the beloved Mortal Kombat universe.
The story picks up after the intense battles from the previous film, where Cole Young (played by Lewis Tan) has embraced his role as a fighter in the Mortal Kombat tournament.
