Battleship 2 (2025)
Battleship 2 picks up a decade after the events of the first film. Admiral Shane (Liam Neeson) leads a global naval coalition as Earth faces an even more formidable alien threat. These new extraterrestrials, evolved from the first invaders, arrive with a fleet of advanced warships capable of manipulating Earth’s oceans to create catastrophic tsunamis and whirlpools.
Jason Statham portrays Commander Cole Hunter, a rebellious Navy SEAL who is reluctantly called back into action when his team discovers a submerged alien base. Gal Gadot joins the cast as Lena Carter, a skilled international intelligence operative tasked with decrypting alien communications. Together, they uncover the aliens’ dark plan: targeting Earth’s core for energy, threatening the planet’s very survival.
The movie’s climax is a high-stakes naval battle in the Pacific Ocean. Admiral Shane commands the coalition fleet, blending human ingenuity with reverse-engineered alien technology. Meanwhile, Cole and Lena undertake a daring underwater assault on the alien mothership to disable its devastating energy weapon.
