Moana 2 | “We’re Back” (2025)
Disney has released the official trailer for “Moana 2: We’re Back,” the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 animated hit. The film is set to premiere in theaters on November 27, 2024.
Set three years after the original, “Moana 2” follows Moana as she embarks on a new journey beyond the shores of Motunui, accompanied by the demigod Maui. The adventure introduces new characters, including Moana’s younger sister, Simea, voiced by Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda.
The trailer showcases stunning visuals of Oceania’s vast seas and offers a glimpse of the challenges Moana and her crew face. Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson reprise their roles as Moana and Maui, respectively, bringing back the chemistry that fans adored in the first film.
A highlight of the trailer is the new song “We’re Back,” performed by Cravalho and Johnson. The track captures the spirit of adventure and camaraderie, setting the tone for the sequel.
